Every print in this collection is an original illustration by The Remembrance Shop: verses and words we want to see every day at home, drawn in a style that sits as easily in a modern living room as in a child's bedroom, with soft colours, clean Arabic calligraphy, mosques and landscapes.
There are verses from the Qur'an, short words of dhikr, du'as for the home, and the great mosques of the Muslim world. Each one is printed on demand and sent straight to you.
Ayat al Kursi is verse 255 of Surah Al-Baqarah, the Throne Verse. It describes Allah's knowledge and His care over the heavens and the earth, and many families keep it near the entrance or in the bedroom as a reminder of protection.
Sabr means patience: holding steady through what is hard, and staying grateful through what is easy. It is a good word to keep where you work or study.
Tawakkul is trust in Allah after you have done your part. The print pairs the word with a calm illustration, which suits a hallway or a reading corner.
You will also find Subhanallah, Al hamdulillah for everything, the Names of Allah, and the du'a for coming home, which belongs by the front door.
Living room: a large calligraphy piece such as Ayat al Kursi or The Throne, or a pair of mosques side by side.
Entrance and hallway: the du'a for coming home, Tawakkul, or Bismillah.
Bedroom: A peaceful heart, Duaa and hope, or Don't worry, which are quieter and softer in colour.

Masjid al Haram, Masjid an Nabawi and Masjid al Aqsa are available one by one or together as The holy mosques set. Alongside them are the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca, Sheikh Zayed in Abu Dhabi, the Sultan Qaboos mosque, and a series on Oman: Muscat, Nizwa, the Omani sea and Isha, a night in Oman.
Every print comes in seven sizes, chosen on the product page: A4 (21 x 29.7 cm), 30 x 40 cm (12 x 16 in), A3 (29.7 x 42 cm), A2 (42 x 59.4 cm), 50 x 70 cm (20 x 28 in), A1 (59.4 x 84.1 cm) and 70 x 100 cm (28 x 40 in).
The 30 x 40 and 50 x 70 sizes fit the standard frames sold in most home stores. A4 and A3 are good for a gallery wall of several small prints; 70 x 100 and A1 hold a wall on their own above a sofa or a bed.
The posters are printed on a heavier 200 gsm (80 lb) semi-glossy paper. The finish protects the print from fading in light and from moisture, and the paper is FSC certified or equivalent depending on where it is printed.
Each poster is printed on demand when you order, as close to you as possible, and shipped in sturdy packaging that protects it on the way.
